Dr. David Salah
Dr. Salah has been serving the needs of the patients of Progressive Dental Group since the summer of 1997. Before he came to us he performed caring, high quality dentistry for a large group dental practice in Wayne.
Dr. Salah graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1994. Dr. Salah's undergraduate work was also done at the University of Michigan. Dr. Salah grew up and attended school in Livonia, Michigan.
In addition to formal training at the University, Dr. Salah has actively been pursuing advanced education in the areas of endodontics ("root canal" therapy), Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) and occlusal (bite) therapy, and the newest advanced cosmetic treatment options.
Dr. Salah is also very active in the implant study group of Oakland County.
Dr. Salah annually takes twice the legal requirement for continuing education hours.
Currently Dr. Salah, his wife Angel, and their children Alexander, Adriana and Rachel live right here in Novi and are active in their community and church activities.
Joseph Sheena
Dr. Sheena joined the impressive team at Progressive Dental Group in September of 2020. Prior to becoming a part of this establishment, he had worked in a private practice dental office in Beverly Hills, MI.
Dr. Sheena completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a Health Education specialization at Michigan State University and went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. Upon completion of his graduate degree, Dr. Sheena spent many hours on continuing education to further his skills and knowledge in order to have the capability to provide the best care possible to his patients
In his free time, Dr. Sheena enjoys spending time with his family and improving his knowledge of overall health and wellness. He participates in racket sports especially tennis which he has played throughout his life.
Dr. Sheena has focused much of his time and effort into the advancements of the dental applications towards airway and joint discomfort. He has furthered his skills in clear aligner appliances - in particular- his understanding in orthodontics as it applies to better jaw joint function. Dr. Sheena plans to provide his patient base with the tools necessary to aid in pain management and better sleep.
